The police on Saturday said they have not found any leads in the alleged attack on a Madrasa teacher who was hit by a car after he refused to say “Jai Shri Ram” on Thursday in Rohini Sector 20.

A senior officer said Mohd. Momin has not been able to give information on the make of the car. Also, CCTV footage obtained from near the spot has not been of much help.

“The accounts given by some eyewitnesses of the incident do not substantiate the claims made by the victim but the investigation is under way,” the officer said. The accused have not been identified yet, the police added.
