NHRC notice over incident of unnatural sex

Taking note of a case of unnatural sex with a student in a government school in South Delhi, the National Human Rights Commission has issued notices to the Delhi Education Secretary and Deputy Commissioner of Police, calling for their reports within two weeks.

The Commission took suo motu cognisance of reports that three students severely thrashed and had unnatural sex with a fellow student in the school backyard on September 2. The alleged perpetrators and the victim were students of class IX.
