“My coaching classes helped me a lot, even more than my school. I took coaching for political science and economics,” says Astha Bamba, a student of BCM Arya Model School, Ludhiana.
“I have not withdrawn myself from any kind of entertainment. I participated in various MUNs (Model of United Nations), debate and declamations. I did not take off from social media as well, since I use to do most of my reading from internet only,” said Astha.
When she was asked about the pressure from home and school she said, “I was a meritorious student. I even scored 10 CGPA in Class X, so everybody was expecting this kind of marks only from me. But, yes my parents never forced me for anything; they have always let me do what I wanted.
On how she kept her clam she said, “One of the most important things I believe parents should look after is the mental health of their child,” she said.
