‘Minority community has begun reposing faith in BJP’

A day after the BJP emerged victorious, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader Indresh Kumar attributed its win to the fact that the country’s Muslim community had begun reposing faith in the party.

Mr. Kumar, who is also the national convener of the RSS-affiliated Muslim Rashtriya Manch, said “scores” of clerics and religious leaders from the community had celebrated the BJP's victory in the 2019 Lok Sabha election.

“The Muslim Rashtriya Manch toured the country to relay information about the work done by the Modi government among the community and that seems to have had its desired effect,” he said.
