A man was shot dead allegedly by three unidentified men at a graveyard in north-east Delhi's Welcome on Friday, the police said.
At 3.30 p.m., Mehfuz, a resident of Welcome, was offering prayers at his daughter’s grave when the incident took place. Three unidentified persons came there and a scuffle broke out between the victim and them. The accused shot him multiple times, said DCP (North-East) Atul Kumar Thakur said. Mehfuz was declared brought dead at a hospital, he said, adding that the victim sustained eight bullet injuries. The case is being probed, they said. Mehfuz had two criminal cases registered against him and was out on bail, they added.
