A man, who was released from jail in December last, has been rearrested in connection with snatching and vehicle theft cases in Dwarka, the police said on Friday.
The accused, Vishal (22), was involved in five cases of snatching, they said.
He was arrested from Dwarka-Matiyala Road on Thursday.
After being released from jail, he had again started to rob people to arrange money for his drug addiction and a mobile phone for his girlfriend.
He had recently stolen a motorcycle, which he used to flee after committing crimes, a senior police officer said. A countrymade pistol, two bullets, four mobiles phones and the motorcycle have been seized.
