Man hit by metro train

Services on the Delhi Metro’s Blue Line were briefly disrupted on Wednesday after a man allegedly jumped on the tracks and was hit by a moving train at Uttam Nagar station, officials said.

The train was going towards Rajiv Chowk station, officials said.

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation, in a tweet, said: “Delay in services between Dwarka Sector 21 and Rajiv Chowk due to a passenger on track at Uttam Nagar East. Normal services on all other lines.”Services on the line were resumed following a delay of 10 minutes, officials added.
