A man was held for allegedly sending offensive messages/pictures to his estranged wife and for uploading her phone number on a porn website.

However, the husband kept sending offensive and life-threatening messages not just to her but also to her colleagues and friends.

The accused worked at a recruitment consultancy firm as a consultant whereas the victim works at a Noida-based BPO.

Ruining social image

The woman filed a complaint on November 13 at Sector 20 police station. She said that she had raised the matter earlier with the police a few months ago. However, the man did not stop misbehaving with her.

“He was called to the Noida SP city office and had given a written undertaking that he will not do it again but still there is no change,” the FIR reads.

Station House Officer Manoj Pant said the man was cyber stalking his estranged wife in which he sent vulgar and offensive text messages to her whenever he saw her with anyone on social media and had also uploaded his wife’s contact number at a porn website.
