Man arrested for firing

He was jailed in 2018 for theft: police

A 23-year-old man was arrested for allegedly firing in front of a man’s house because the latter had spoken to the accused in a high pitch, the police said on Monday.

DCP (Dwarka) Anto Alphonse said the accused has been identified as Suhail alias Parvez from Uttam Nagar. The police on October 7 received a PCR call regarding firing in Janakpuri. When they reached the spot, complainant Kapil Dagar said Suhail and his minor associate had fired outside his house though no one was injured. The accused was then nabbed from Dabri. Suhail who confessed to have fired outside the house of Kapil and Himanshu, was earlier arrested in 2018 for stealing two-wheelers and then again in an assault case. Talking about the incident, the police said Suhail was sitting at his uncle’s house when he got into an argument with Himanshu and a few others. “Other persons present there told Suhail that how can someone speak loudly in his presence after which he went and fired outside Himanshu’s house,” the officer said.
