On the eve of Republic Day, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday hit out at the Centre for obstructing the Aam Aadmi Party government’s projects, including mohalla clinics and construction of schools.

Addressing the audience during the Delhi government’s Republic Day celebrations at Chhatrasal Stadium, Mr. Kejriwal said there was an attempt to “stomp” the idea that took root in Delhi four years ago, referring to his government coming to power.

“Who are these people who are trying to stomp? During our freedom movement, there were traitors who would tell the British what our freedom fighters were doing. Today also there are people among us who want to make the country weak,” he said.
