On the anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi’s assassination, Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convener Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday said the “Sangh” ideology that was behind his killing was prevalent today too.

In a tweet, Mr. Kejriwal said: “On this 30th day of January, let us not forget the fact that it is the hatred bred by the fundamentalist ideology of Sangh that took away Bapu. Let us also not forget the fact that it is the same ideology that is staring at us with its ugliest face yet, now [sic].”

AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh said in a tweet that there was a need to defeat the ideology that killed Gandhi.
