Two men, who cheated youngsters on the pretext of providing them jobs at Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), have been arrested, the police said on Saturday.

ATM cards, rubber stamps of Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, booking receipts of postal department, envelopes, letters and a format for medical examination were recovered from them, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Crime Branch, Alok Kumar said. Laptops, printers, a scanner and papers used for fake documents were also recovered.

The police arrested the two accused — Naveen Kumar, 38, from Sitamarhi, Bihar, and Himanshu Suman, 27, from Sivan (Bihar) — after receiving a complaint from ONGC about fake recruitment in the company. Kumar would lure unemployed youths by posing as a Navy officer.
