Public Works Department Minister Satyendar Jain on Saturday reviewed prevention of waterlogging preparations with respective agencies and asked them to furnish daily reports. “The reason behind Minto Bridge waterlogging has been identified. A pipe is being laid in front of the building on DDU Marg where the drain had been closed. No waterlogging was reported during the last rain on July 18,” a government spokesperson said. All agencies have been directed to keep their necessary equipments ready. “DDA and Railways representatives did not attend the meeting,” the spokesperson added.
