India’s largest mgmt fest begins at SRCC

Business Conclave starts off with talksfrom founders of start-ups

: Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC), Delhi University, started its three-day long management festival Business Conclave on Wednesday.

The first day of the fest was dedicated to start-ups with talks from Saurabh Kochhar from Foodpanda, Ankur Warikoo from Nearbuy, Navneet Singh from Peppertap, Kashyap Deorah from Goldentap, and Rohan Verma from MapmyIndia.

Day two of the fest will host eminent business personalities including Sunil Bharti Mittal, Founder and Chairman of Bharti Enterprises, D. Shivakumar, Chairman and CEO of Pepsico India and Nitin Gadkari, Minister of Road Transport and Highways.

A townhall session with quiz-master Derek O'Berien has also been planned on the second day.

On the third day, the key speakers will be Adi Godrej, Chairman of the Godrej Group and GM Rao, Founder and Group Chairman of the GMR Group.

The fest, which provides a platform for the leaders of today to interact with the leaders of tomorrow, is the largest management fest in the country.

This year, The Hindu is also one of the associate sponsors of the fest.

In the past, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, HRD Minister Smriti Irani, Minister of IT Ravi Shankar Prasad, Reliance Ind. MD Mukesh Ambani, business tycoon and philanthropist Azim Premji and other prominent personalities from the business and political world have spoken at the conclave.
