HC relief for flight attendant’s in-laws

The Delhi High Court on Tuesday granted bail to the in-laws of a flight attendant who allegedly jumped from the terrace of her south Delhi house on July 13.

Justice Mukta Gupta gave relief to victim’s in-laws subject to their furnishing a bond of ₹50,000. The in-laws moved the High Court after their plea for bail was rejected by a trial court. They had surrendered before the police on November 1. The husband had on July 13 rushed her to a hospital, where she was declared dead. He was arrested on July 16. Her family had alleged that he physically abused her and often demanded money.
