The Delhi government is planning to install GPS devices in all its vehicles in order to prevent misuse of official cars, sources in the Aam Aadmi Party dispensation said on Monday.

They said Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has asked General Administration Department Minister Gopal Rai to initiate the process after he received complaints regarding the misuse of the vehicles. Mr. Rai could not be reached for comment.

A government source said the GPS devices would be installed in all State government cars, including ones of the Delhi Jal Board and Delhi Transport Corporation, adding that those would be installed in the vehicles of officials as well as ministers.
