Two years after the case was reported, former employee of a jewellery shop was arrested on Friday for allegedly robbing ₹90 lakh from another employee while the latter was on his way to deposit the cash belonging to the owner..

Neeraj, a staff of Shagun Jewellers in Paschim Vihar, along with three other associates, allegedly robbed Suraj Kumar, another staff of the shop, in June 2015.

Neeraj said that he wanted revenge from the owners for sacking him because it shattered his dream of becoming a singer. He was allegedly sacked as he was in a relationship with a woman employee.
