Flat-owners up in arms

October 13, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:36 am IST - GURGAON:

Over a hundred flat-owners in different projects of Ramprastha City in Sector 37D staged a demonstration outside the office of Ramprastha Promoters and Developers Limited, over prolonged delay in possession of flats.

The developer had launched three projects — The Atrium, The View and The Edge — comprising two-and three-BHK flats in 2008 and promised possession in the first half of 2013. However, the project is far from complete even two years after the scheduled date of possession.

The flat-buyers assembled outside the developer’s office in Sector 44. After initial stone walling by the employees, director Arvind Walia agreed to speak to the buyers at a meeting on October 25 at the site office in Sector 37D.
