The Delhi Police have registered an FIR into the incident at Daulat Ram College on Wednesday, when students who had cleared the cut-off were allegedly denied admission. “An FIR has been registered against five to six people named in the complaint received from the college principal,” said DCP (north) Jatin Narwal.
A senior police officer said the accused have been booked under Sections 323 (punishment for voluntarily causing hurt), 341 (punishment for wrongful restraint), 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation) and 427 (mischief causing damage) of the IPC.
