A fingerprints expert on Friday told the court conducting trial in the Uber rape case that the fingerprints and palm prints of the victim matched with the ones lifted from the taxi which she had hired to reach home on December 5 last year.
Recording his evidence before Additional Sessions Judge Kaveri Baweja, Harender Prasad also denied a suggestion by counsel for the accused that he had not visited the Operation Cell where the vehicle was parked to lift the fingerprints and prepared the forensic examination report at his home.
Another prosecution witness Sub-Inspector Devender of the Delhi Police denied in his cross-examination another suggestion by counsel for the accused that he had arrested the accused from his home, not from a hideout in Mathura.
