With Delhi University’s application deadline just three days away, on June 15, more than 3.5 lakh students have already applied for admission. Till June 11, around 3,05,837 students have applied online and around 64,000 have applied through the registration centres.

The first cut-off list for admissions will be announced on June 25, which will be followed by six more cut-off lists in the following days.

A senior university official said, “Once the cut-offs for various courses are out, students will need to contact individual colleges for admission in subjects that they are eligible for. Admission procedure for a single cut-off list continues for two to three days.”

The University has changed certain criteria for admission this year. If a student chooses a subject, which he or she has not studied in Class XII, 2.5 per cent marks will be deducted from the best-four calculation.

Other than this, students who have not studied Mathematics in Class XII will not be able to apply for BCom honors or Economics honors.
