The survival rate for the saplings was 65%, the presentation said. The presentation noted that the green cover of Delhi had increased by 0.37% from 20.22% in 2015 to 20.59% in 2017, according to the Forest Survey of India Report, 2017. The target, the department said, was to increase green cover to 25% by 2022.
