The National Green Tribunal (NGT) on Thursday rapped the Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC) for not submitting a factual report on the action taken against dyeing industries in Malviya Nagar that are leading to air pollution.

A Bench headed by NGT chairperson Justice Adarsh Kumar Goel directed the DPCC to submit a fresh report to the tribunal within a month.

“No facts have been furnished nor ownership of the building or of the person, who was carrying out illegal activities, ascertained. Neither was any money recovered. What is this report that you [DPCC] have filed? Give us a proper report within a month,” the Bench said.
