Dense fog delays 42 trains in Delhi

Dense fog enveloped Delhi on Thursday morning, delaying 42 trains due to the poor visibility, officials said.

The Met Office said the visibility slumped to below 50 meters in the morning.

According to the Northern Railway, 41 trains were running late and one train was rescheduled due to the fog in an around the national capital.

The minimum temperature of the day was 7.2 degrees Celsius.

“The dense fog on Thursday morning led to poor visibility. The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 15 degrees Celsius,” said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
