Late on the night of February 19, 2018, Delhi Chief Secretary Anshu Prakash was allegedly assaulted by Aam Aadmi Party MLAs at the premises of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's home. Mr. Prakash has alleged that it was a "premeditated attack" that occurred during a late night meeting.

The Delhi Police registered an FIR against AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan and 11 other MLAs based on Mr. Prakash’s complaint. There was chaos at the Delhi Secretariat the day after, with officials of the Delhi Administrative Subordinate Services (DASS) and Stenographer cadres sat on a dharna outside Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s office on the third floor of the Secretariat, demanding an apology for the alleged attack.

On February 23, the Delhi police conducted a search of Mr. Kejriwal's residence for CCTV footage of the incident.

Here is what has transpired since the alleged assault.
