The Enforcement Directorate on Thursday recorded the statement of businessman Ratul Puri in the AgustaWestland VVIP chopper deal case, said an agency official.
Mr. Puri appeared before the case investigating officer around 11 a.m. He has denied any kind of connection or involvement in any case.
On Wednesday, the ED informed a city court that it had summoned Mr. Puri, chairman of Hindustan Powerprojects Private Limited, for confronting him with Sushen Mohan Gupta, an accused arrested recently by the agency in the chopper deal case.
In a statement, Mr. Puri’s company said: “He would be fully cooperating with the Enforcement Directorate probe and provide any clarification or information as may be required.”
