Better to be a chowkidar than a liar, BJP counters

‘Watchmen can fight against social evils’

The State unit of the BJP on Wednesday attacked Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for his dig on the ‘Main Bhi Chowkidar’ campaign by arguing that it was better to become a hard-working chowkidar or watchman than becoming a “big liar” like him.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi wants countrymen to become chowkidars so that they can fight against corruption and social evils, the BJP’s Delhi unit sought to assert.

The BJP also took to twitter stating anybody who contributes to the progress of the country is a chowkidar, but Arvind Kejriwal will not understand this as he has nothing to do with the country and the countrymen.

The BJP’s tweet followed Mr. Kejriwal’s comment against the ‘Main Bhi Chowkidar’ campaign with the CM arguing that if people wanted their children to become watchmen, they should vote for Mr. Modi, but if they wanted good education for them, they should vote for AAP.

The Delhi BJP said chowkidars work really hard and unlike AAP, they do not waste public money for self-promotion.
