Attacker sent to judicial custody

Ankit Bhardwaj, who was arrested by the Delhi Police on Wednesday for allegedly attacking sacked AAP minister Kapil Mishra, was produced before the court on Thursday. He was sent to five-day judicial custody.

Bhardwaj, resident of south Delhi’s Moti Bagh, told the police that he was a Chartered Accountant and left his job to join AAP. He has been booked under section 107/151 of the CrPC (preventive detention), and 323 and 506 of the IPC .
