Assembly panel to probe school fee hike

The Delhi Assembly’s Petitions Committee will probe the alleged illegal fee hike by a south Delhi school by visiting the premises on Monday.

According to the notice for the inspection, the committee had taken up the petition alleging illegal fee hike by Indian School in Sadiq Nagar for deliberation on December 4 and decided to visit the school on Monday.

The panel’s members and chairperson, AAP MLA Saurabh Bharadwaj, would be accompanied by the petitioners — Suman Satish and Tanu Nair, and officials of the Directorate of Education and the Delhi Commission for Protection of Child Rights, stated the December 6 notice.
