The Journalism Department of Kalindi College organised its annual fest ‘Monochrome’ on Wednesday with veteran actors Praveen Kumar and Vanya Joshi present as chief guests.
‘Monochrome’
Talking to The Hindu , an organiser said, “In the post-truth age we live in, the word ‘monochrome’ becomes more relevant. We try to see everything in terms of black and white when there are many shades of grey in between, which is where the truth mostly lies. This is the key message of our fest.”
After inaugurating the event, Praveen Kumar said, “In today’s age, the girls need to be as bold as the boys. It’s really heartening to see the energy and confidence in the girls here. It’s always a delight interacting with young minds.”
The day-long event saw a seven competitions being held where students from different DU colleges participated.
