AAP announces final list for Assembly polls

Pramila Tokas to be AAP candidate from R.K. Puram

January 03, 2015 08:19 am | Updated 08:19 am IST - NEW DELHI:

Laying all speculations to rest of former Aam Aadmi Party leader Sazia Ilmi making a comeback, the party named Pramila Tokas as its candidate from the R.K. Puram Assembly constituency from where Ms. Ilmi lost by only a few hundred votes last year.

The party on Friday released names of eight candidates for the upcoming Assembly elections, thus announcing faces for all the 70 Assembly seats. The list includes names of Pankaj Pushkar (Timarpur) – replacing former party MLA Harsh Khanna, who opted out this time round.

Other names in the list include Sarita Singh (Rohtash Nagar), Haji Yunus (Mustafabad), Ch. Goverdhan Singh (Mehrauli), Ajay Dutt (Ambedkar Nagar), Suresh Bhardwaj (Wazirpur) and Pawan Sharma (Adarsh Nagar).
