: Four alleged members of the notorious Sandeep Gadoli gang were arrested by the Rohtak police on Monday.

The accused have been identified as Sonu, Deepak, Ravi Kant and Monu. They were arrested near Industrial Model Township following a tip-off. The four were armed and planning to rob commuters, said the police. Five pistols and ten live cartridges were allegedly seized from them.

‘Revenge killing’

The men had allegedly killed former councillor and gangster Binder Gujjar’s brother Manish Kumar to avenge the murder of Gadoli and were also planning to murder Binder. Gadoli, a gangster from Gurugram, was killed by the Gurugram Police in a “fake” encounter in Mumbai in February last year.
