An FIR has been registered against former Bigg Boss contestant Swami Om and his associate at central Delhi's IP estate police station here over a complaint alleging molestation.

According to a senior police officer, the victim had filed a complaint of molestation and outraging her modesty against Swami Om and his associate Santoshanand on Saturday. The official, however, added that preliminary investigation had revealed both parties had a history of similar disputes with each other in the past.

Her compliant alleges that a few days ago, while she was passing through the Rajghat area, Swami Om and his associate Santoshanand assailed her and ripped her clothes off in an attempt to humiliate her in public.

She also said she was threatened with dire consequences and also verbally abused by the duo who fled when she screamed for help.

“Acting on the compliant, an FIR under IPC section 354 has been registered against Swami Om and his associate. The victim will record her statement on Monday before the honourable magistrate. Action will be taken against the accused,” said the officer.
