A 54-year-old was killed after being run over by a DTC bus at Delhi Gate in central Delhi’s Daryaganj. The victim, Munna Lal was on his cycle when the incident happened.
The driver of the bus, identified as Inderjeet Kumar, has been arrested.

The police said the bus was being driven rashly. “The deceased was a security guard with a private company. He was on his way home when the bus hit him. The driver has been arrested. A case of rash driving and causing death by negligence has been registered,” said a senior police officer.
The deceased was a resident of Babarpur in Shahdara.
