January 06, 2017 12:48 am | Updated 12:48 am IST - New Delhi:

A 30-year-old CISF sub-inspector allegedly shot himself dead at the Kalkaji metro station in south Delhi on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as Bhagat Singh, a native of Agra in Uttar Pradesh

The incident took place around 4.15 p.m. in the CCTV control room of the station, CISF officials said.

Singh was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was declared brought dead.

Though no suicide note was recovered from the spot, the police said their initial probe had revealed the deceased was under stress over some issues.

Singh’s phone was also scanned, but it did not reveal any clues, said the police.
