CISF constable forces two chain-snatchers to flee

: A woman CISF constable single-handedly challenged and forced two snatchers to run, leaving behind their motorbike, despite getting no support from bystanders in east Delhi’s South Ganesh Nagar.

Unwilling to relent

Premlata Kumari was going to Ghaziabad around 8.30 p.m. on Wednesday, when she was attacked by bike-borne snatchers . As she fell down, the duo snatched her gold chain and tried to escape. Premlata picked up a brick and chased them away. The snatchers, however, managed to run away with her gold chain. A case has been registered at Mandawali. —PTI
