923 candidates in the fray

Over 900 candidates have filed nominations for the February 7 polls with nominations for the 2015 Delhi Assembly Elections coming to an end on Wednesday. The number of candidates this year is 272 less than the number of candidates who filed nominations for the 2013 polls.

In all, 1404 nominations were filed in the last seven days. The New Delhi Assembly constituency saw the maximum number of candidates contesting at 23 and the Ambedkar Nagar constituency in South Delhi has six candidates in the fray. — Staff Reporter
