Delhi Environment Minister Asim Ahmed Khan said: “On National Green Tribunal’s direction, the DPCC checked the documents of all 77 hotels and found they were operating without licence from the civic bodies and Delhi Police. They also did not have pollution-checking devices.”

The hotels were also drawing water from 30 borewells without permission to use groundwater.
