A 25-year-old man from Assam allegedly committed suicide at his rented accommodation in south Delhi's Malviya Nagar on Sunday.
The deceased, identified as Sanjay Serma, was a native of Assam's Dibrugarh and had come to Delhi looking for a job, the police said.
No suicide note
He was living with his girlfriend at the rented accommodation in Malviya Nagar for three months, said a senior police officer.
His girlfriend returned late at night and found the door locked from the inside and then informed the landlord.
The door was forced open to find Serma hanging.
No suicide note was recovered from the spot, said the officer.
