The police have identified two suspects involved in the cow slaughter incident at a Chhawla farmhouse in Dwarka, the police said on Thursday.

On April 11, the police had arrested five persons in the case based on a tip-off that a group of men were slaughtering cows.

Before the police could reach the spot, on the intervening night of April 10 and 11, at least 10-15 unidentified men, claiming to be “gau rakshaks”, reached the farmhouse and attacked Raja Ram, the farmhouse’s caretaker and others.

Ram was later declared dead by the doctors due to the severity of his injuries. Earlier, two FIRs were lodged in the case. While Raja Ram and the others were arrested in the first FIR, no arrests have been made in the second FIR.
