18-year-old stabbed to death in north Delhi

Victim stabbed multiple times in Inderlok over ‘ personal enmity’; two accused have been identified

An 18-year-old boy was stabbed to death allegedly by two youths in north Delhi’s Inderlok on Sunday evening.

A senior police officer said that the victim, Dilshad, was stabbed near the lighthouse by Rashid and Murgi.

Case registered

The police have registered a case under Section 302 (murder) of the IPC and have started investigations. Dilshad lived in Daya Basti.

On Sunday evening, the accused allegedly stabbed Dilshad on the left side of his stomach multiple times before fleeing. He was taken to Bara Hindu Rao hospital, where he was declared brought dead.

The police have deployed multiple teams to find the two accused from their possible hideouts. The murder is suspected to be the fallout of personal enmity and the police are questioning the victim’s family members and friends for more information.

CCTV footage

CCTV footage from the area is also being analysed to gather further information.
