Water level stands at 104.41 ft. in Bhavani Sagar Reservoir

The inflow at Bhavani Sagar Reservoir that dropped throughout the day increased on Monday evening with the water level standing at 104.41 feet against the Full Reservoir Level of 105 feet.

At 4 p.m., the inflow was 7,422 cusecs while the discharge was 2,100 cusecs in the Lower Bhavani Project canal and 600 cusecs in the Arakankottai – Thadapalli channels. Water storage was 32.303 tmc against the capacity of 32.800 tmc.

Public Works Department officials said that the inflow that was 5,176 cusecs at 6 a.m. on Monday dropped to 3,544 cusecs at 8 a.m. and 3,176 cusecs at 10 a.m.

However, it increased in the evening, the officials added.
