P. Rajkumar, professor, Department of Food Process Engineering, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, has received the National Agricultural Scientific Innovation Award from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, says a release from the university.
The award is in recognition of his contribution towards the development of processing machinery – tamarind dehuller and deseeder, improved mini dal mill, wax applicator for fruits foam mat dryer, hybrid dryer, coconut dehusker and colour sorter for spherical fruits.
