The second edition of mega textile fair - WEAVES 2019 - will be held at Texvalley here from November 27 to 30.
The fair will be organised by Texvalley in association with Confederation of Indian Industry, a press release said. The pre-launch of the fair was held recently in which R. Amalorpavanathan, Deputy Managing Director, NABARD, Mumbai, released ‘WEAVES 2019’ brochure and launched its official website in the presence of Texvalley chairman P. Periyaswamy, managing director P. Raajashekar, vice-chairman C. Devarajan, past chairman of PDEXCIL M. Duraisamy and other dignitaries.
Textile materials as yarns, fabrics, garments, home-textiles, sustainable cloths and ethnic wear will be on display at the fair and it will be visited by more than 50 international buyers. Over 8,000 valuable people from textile fraternity such as domestic buying houses, legendary costume designers, textile value chains, retail boutiques, fashion designers will be utilising the platform to see the wide variety of fabrics. Meetings to create network link between buyers and direct manufacturers will also be held.
