Sri Kandha Guru Real Estate who partitioned several acres of land as house sites at Chinna Thadagam near Thudiyalur has come forward to return money to their investors — following complaints lodged against them by eight persons during the last two months.

Officials of the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) told newsmen here on Monday that hundreds of persons invested money in the real estate firm owned by P.A. Madeswaran of Komarapalayam in Namakkal District. EOW officials said that the firm had issued a demand draft for Rs. 20.96 lakh to the District Revenue Office and it would be handed over to the complainants. The police said that similar arrangement would be made to ensure that other investors in the firm were not cheated.
