Sippo in association with the National Jute Development Corporation is conducting a jute exhibition at the USSS Hall in Charring Cross from June 5 to 9.

According to a release from the organisers, the exhibition, conducted to coincide with the World Environment Day, will feature products by jute manufacturers from Tamil Nadu.

The jute products offer an ideal alternative to products made of plastics and are environment friendly, the release says.

It is the third such exhibition in The Nilgiris district.

On Friday, T. Ayyappan, Marketing Promotional Officer, National Jute Development Corporation, was present at the inauguration along with Sippo manager K. Palanivel Murugan and Project Director, Magalir Thittam, T. Palanikumar.
