Industries can apply online for consent to establish, consent to operate, and renewal of consent from the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board.
According to a press release from the board, it has taken action to develop online consent management and monitoring system for issue of online consent order. The applications received online will be forwarded to the engineers concerned for processing. Additional information and clarification on the application will be communicated online. Efforts are on to issue the consent also online.
The press release added that the text messages and e-mail alerts will be sent to the district environment engineers of the board and to the industries when an application is received.
