Nominations are invited for Aram Award given by Sriram Illakkiya Kazaham, the literary division of Shriram Group.
According to a release, the award carries a cash prize of Rs. 1 lakh and a citation.
The nominations for the award can be made by anyone who is very familiar with his or her nominee.
The nominee should have made an exemplary contribution for social uplift and should be an Indian.
There cannot be self nomination.
The persons who wishes to recommend a person for the award can send the details about the contribution of the person in not more than two pages to Shriram Ilakkiya Kazhagam, 145, Santhome High Road, Mylapore, Chennai 600004.
