MoU signed

Kumaraguru College of Technology has signed a memorandum of understanding with Indian Textile Accessories and Machinery Manufacturers’ Association to establish a common facility centre for textile engineering industry, says a release from the institution.

The common facility centre will be established under the Cluster Development Programme of the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. Joint Correspondent of the college Shankar Vanavarayar inked the agreement on behalf of the college and S. Senthilkumar signed the agreement representing the association.

The centre will have testing and quality control facility for engineering and plastics, design corner for product design and development, training for manpower capability development, knowledge corner, data centre and library and product development centre for indigenisation.
