Motorola Mobility plans to open more experience centres in the country, Marcus Frost, its Senior Marketing Director for EMEA and India, told presspersons here recently. Motorola, which has an exclusive partnership with Flipkart to sell its devices in India, has about 150 service centres in the country. It opened an experience centre in Bengaluru two months ago and plans to open more. Customers can buy products through Flipkart at the experience centres too.

Trial basis

It has launched Moto Care van in New Delhi on a trial basis so that service facility is provided at the doorstep of the customers.

About three million devices were sold between February and December last year. “We want to have service network and a vibrant brand. We believe in having products for all price segments and wearables,” he said.
